Founding Partner
He has more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector, holding various positions throughout his career. As founding partner in Energy Intelligence Consulting, he has supported several companies in the development of their energy procurement strategy and their search, selection and execution of different contracts that guarantee our clients the Minimum Achievable Energy Cost. He served for 7 years as the Energy Director for Deacero Group, being his main function the development of a diversified portfolio as well as an energy trading desk. Under his command, he developed a 90 MW natural gas-based power generation plant and closed supply agreements with Ventika wind farm, the PIMA solar farm, this last one being the first power supply contract signed between a private generator and an industrial client, as well as a 250 MW contract with Energia de Celaya (combined cycle), which at the time was the largest contract in value ever signed between a Qualified User and a Qualified Supplier.
Previously, he has served in different energy roles for Cemex, Alfa Group and General Electric.
Patricio has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from ITESM and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
